Foreign devotees and tourists visiting Sri Mayapur can now look forward to changing their money at a brand new foreign currency exchange outlet 'GAURADESA' in ISKCON Sri Mayapur.
'GAURADESA' was inaugurated on 19th October 2009 in our ISKCON Mayapur campus on the auspicious occasion of Govardhan Puja by HH Jayapataka Maharaj and HH Umapati Maharaj.
This office is strategically located in the Chakra building, close to the ATM and the temple, is well equipped, has state of the art contemporary interiors and is well staffed.
GAURADESA is the only ISKCON authorised office in Sri Mayapur. The ISKCON treasury which previously offered Foreign Currency Exchange facility no longer offer this service from their office.
The Currency Exchange rate offered by GAURADESA ever since its inception has consistently been found to be the best anywhere in the region including Kolkata.
The days of hassle and risk for devotees to venture outside the campus to change their foreign currency is now over.
