All ISKCON temples have a routine programme with just a half hour difference in the summer and winter.You are invited to join in as your tour permits.

Dress Code

Women are advised to wear a sari and the body including bellies should be covered at all times. If however women are uncomfortable wearing a sari then please ensure you are fully clothed. Men should wear neat and clean dhotis and kurtas, or comfortable long pants and shirts. No shorts allowed.

No shoes are allowed in the temple. It is not uncommon to have your shoes go missing. It is believed to be a good omen. Our advice is that you travel in comfortable shoes.

 

General Rules of Conduct at all ISKCON ashrams

To uphold the spiritual atmosphere of the Bhaktivedanta ashram the 4 rules strictly apply to all guests whilst on the premises of all the ISKCON ashrams.

  • no meat eating(including fish or eggs)
  • no intoxication
  • no gambling
  • no illicit sex
